Welcome back to school. I hope everyone has had a good summer and are looking forward to the new term.

I am pleased you've accessed my blog and hope that you continue to do so throughout the year. I'll use it as an opportunity to keep you up to date with things on a regular basis and hope that you will add your thoughts and comments too.

Things have been busy in school over the summer. You'll notice when you come in that the decorators have been in action and it really looks good. There are still more areas to be done but we hope by the beginning of November the whole school will have a new coat of paint.

This term sees the opening of our Pre-School. We'll be welcoming 16 children in total along with our new reception children. It is an exciting time for us. In prepration for this we are have made some changes to the early years area, in particular a new entrance for pre-school and a canopy over the entrance to help shelter the children as they come in to school.

Our staff have a training day on Monday 2nd September and then the children are back in school on Tuesday 3rd September. See you all then.
