On Monday 28th April, around 60 children, plus adults, carers, grandparents and staff gathered in the hall for a special mission: a mission to collect litter in the woods and on the Parkside estate and make our community a nicer place to live.
Inspired by the School Council and armed with hi-vis jackets, litter picking equipment and lots of enthusiasm, our heroic volunteers managed to collect over 40 bags of waste! A fantastic effort!
Mrs Batty even said that 2 pensioners from Parkside had come out of their houses to ask what we were doing and then commented that it was a great thing.
